    A Piepmatzban a játékosoknak ügyesen taktikázva kell az etetőhelyhez irányítani a kismadarakat. Ha jól kombinálunk, egy madárka lesz a jutalmunk, melyet leteszünk magunk elé és kapunk még bónuszmagocskákat is, melyek pontokat érnek a játék végén. Ha még jobban kombinálunk, akkor láncreakcióként akár több madárkát is letehetünk magunk elé, melyekből, ráadásul ha sikerül párt alkotni (azonos fajú nőstények és hímek), akkor extra pontokhoz jutunk. A játék végi pontozás emlékeztet egy kicsit az Arborétumban megszokotthoz, csak az kap pontot az adott madárfajért, aki a legtöbb egyforma madarat gyűjti be. A legtöbb pontot begyűjtő játékos nyer. Shotgun blasts on the other hand are rather bad, cause if you collect three shotgun blasts during your turn, it is over for you and you get no points. After rolling three dice, you may decide if you want to score your current brain collection or if you want to push your luck by grabbing new dice so you have three again and roll once more.     Star Realms is a fast paced deck-building card game of outer space combat. It combines the fun of a deck-building game with the interactivity of Trading Card Game style combat. As you play, you make use of Trade to acquire new Ships and Bases from the cards being turned face up in the Trade Row from the Trade Deck. You use the Ships and Bases you acquire to either generate more Trade or to generate Combat to attack your opponent and their bases. When you reduce your opponent’s score (called Authority) to zero, you win!

    Multiple decks of Star Realms and/or Star Realms Colony Wars one for every two people, allows up to six players to play a variety of scenarios.
